The second season of ‘The Voice‘ just kicked off Sunday and already there’s lots of rumors going around about a third season!The original judges: Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Cee-lo Green all returned for the new season. Now it looks like at least one of the Judges has already negotiated their way back for a third season!

Per The Wrap:

Aguilera is the first of the four “Voice” judges to re-up her contract, which TheWrap last week reported amounted to a pricey $10 million, far more than “X Factor” judges earn on Fox.

Also we won’t be waiting until next winter for the third season because NBC plans to bring The Voice back this fall. And get this – NBC is going to position The Voice against ‘The X-Factor‘ on Fox. This could get interesting! As for the other Judges, it’s likely they too will return for season three this fall!

I watched the season premiere on Sunday and I just love this show. It’s nice to see people being judged solely on talent and not on their physical appearance! This is how it should be. Music is for the ears not for the eyes!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s divorce is final! All that’s left to do is tough out the 6 month waiting period for divorces in California – then they will both be considered legally single! The exact terms of the breakup are confidential, all we know is that Brand filed for divorce from Katy last year due to irreconcilable differences. The former couple made it longer than most celebs, but who didn’t see this relationship ending?!

Because there was no pre-nup for their marriage, legally Brand is entitled to half of what Perry brought in from May of 2010 to May of 2011. This just so happened to be her most successful period! Katy made $44 million between May 2010 and May 2011 — They married in October 2010, so Russell could have scored a fortune if he exercised his community property rights. And that’s a big ‘if.’

Per TMZ:

“This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch (Yiddish for a good person).” He doesn’t want Katy’s money. He’s happy to walk away with the money he earned — which is far less than what Katy raked in.

Gisele Bundchen, wife of boiled broccoli – Tom Brady, made the mistake of thinking/speaking. After watching the Patriots lose the game, she she was caught on video blaming the team’s receivers.

“You (have) to catch the ball when you’re supposed to catch the ball,” she is heard saying. “My husband cannot [expletive] throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.”

Obviously this didn’t sit well with people. Since her comments spread like wildfire, she has been skewered by media, football fans and players.

“Lana del Rey is not bad at all. She looks very much like a modern-time singer. In her photos she is beautiful. Is she a construct with all her implants? She’s not alone with implants.”

Got this guys? Implants = good. Sandwiches = bad. I’m so glad that an eccentric old man with a bouffant cleared that up for me. Should we take it to heart? Of course not, and I’m willing to bet Adele hasn’t. I’m also willing to bet that Lana del Rey is going to be couriered a front row ticket to the Chanel show in Paris next month. Who appointed him arbiter of women’s bodies anyway?

Beyonce and Jay-Z have filed a trademark application to protect their daughter Blue Ivy‘s name. The couple lodged its petition at the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office on January 26th, just weeks after becoming parents – a new clothing line perhaps?

The filing, submitted by Beyonce’s company BGK Trademark Holdings, is currently pending but is expected to be approved, according to the Washington Post. Authorities have already rejected two applications from firms who have attempted to cash in on the name, insisting it belongs to a “very famous infant”.

The move is twofold as where the singer and mogul wish to use the name of their firstborn for a line of first-string infant items, but more importantly the registering process is to indubitably halt any misrepresentation a slickster using Blue’s moniker with the intent of gaining notoriety.
An impending Blue Ivy line would consist of “baby carriages, baby cosmetics, diaper bags, and other undoubtedly fabulous accoutrements for the fashion-forward infant,” according to the Post.

We can’t wait for the clothing line! A baby bib that’s cocked to the side or our personal favorite, the onesie with cigar pocket on the chest…
