After 8 seasons of mullet clad chases mixed with amply amounts of family problems, ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ has been canceled. A&E confirmed their decision to cut the show on Monday.

The network suffered several legal issues at the hands of Dog and ratings have been mixed. The bounty hunting show appeared to have a reheat in ratings thanks to a high January premiere, but it’s too little, too late. A&E and Chapman’s people were in the process of negotiations, but “creative differences” threw a wrench into things and the show has simply been axed.

As TMZ points out, when the words “creative differences” are used..that usually means there is bad blood somewhere.

Howard and Sharon Osbourne hit the big red X on a 7 year old rapping hopeful dubbed Mir Money. You wanted to root for the little guy, but his talent was just buried under nerves or perhaps simply not there yet. As he got his second buzz that ended his chances at moving on, he broke down crying as soon as Howard started to explain that he was so brave, but not ready.

Nick Cannon attempted to help but just made things worse by calling the judge a “mean man.” Stern quickly went on stage to console Money. The situation was just hard to watch. The boy clearly had no shot of actually winning, so patronizing him would only hurt him more in the end. The radio host just couldn’t handle the kid crying and repeated that being a judge was “just too rough” and exclaiming that he’s “not cut out for this.”

In the end, the kid went backstage and seemed consoled while Howard changed his vote to a “yes” and continued to feel terrible. Sharon and Howie wisely stuck to the guns and gave a resolute “no.”

Every film has its mistakes. Continuity is a top offender, but sometimes factual elements sneak in. Let’s nitpick those and see if you caught them in theaters. These could be spoiler-ish so this is your obligatory SPOILER ALERT.

*When Katniss, Peeta and Cato are on top of the Cornucopia near the end of the film, she aims an arrow at Cato while he has Peeta in a headlock. Katniss has her arrow fletchings on backwards. This would prevent her from shooting straight.

*While Katniss is hiding/sleeping in a tree before the fire corals her into the path of the Careers, her sleeping bag vanishes in and out of the scene.

*There is no cannon fire to alert the Hunger Games participants that Rue and her killer, Marvel, have died.

*While Katniss is alone in her suite, she is looking at different types of scenery in the windows. The remote she uses disappears and reappears in her hand through the scene.

*As the 12 chariots carrying the tributes roll through the stadium, fans throw flowers as they pass. When all the chariots have reached the end of the roadway, an overhead shot reveals a clean and spotless runway.

*After Katniss wades across water to find Peeta, her legs are soaking wet up past her thighs. When she discovers the blood trail she is completely dry.

*In the same scene that has Cato, Peeta and Katniss on top of the cornucopia, blood stains seen on Cato’s hand disappears and reappears as the camera switches focus to and from Katniss.

*Peeta throws the giant metal ball to win intimidation as Clove, Cato and Marvel watch. After they see him toss the ball, Clove and Glimmer have switched places.

*The number of arrows available for Katniss to use while being evaluated changes. She is given four, uses one and misses her target. She turns back to grab another arrow and four arrows are still available for her to use.

*When Peeta smears the cream on Katniss’ cut she received while getting the medicine at The Feast, he wipes away the wound makeup making it look like the it is days old/healed.

Here we have what appears to be the original teaser poster with Batman photoshopped in. Really? That is it? They didn’t even bother doing a good job plopping him in the scene. The film had a great momentum going into the marketing push despite the fact that the title appeared to be recycled. The first photo of Bane showed just enough to tease your movie palate while hiding the goods with shadows. After that, things appeared to be fizzling. It certainly fails in comparison the marketing ‘The Dark Knight’ had that engaged audience interaction and had fans scrambling over their respective city for clues left by The Joker.

Catwoman’s costume failed to impress the masses despite the buzz that Anne Hathaway’s character is so well written that she has the same chance of stealing the show ala Heath Ledger as The Joker. Audiences are promised that suit has for more bells and whistles beyond what the eyes can see. Bane’s muffled garble was another issue with test audiences. That has reportedly been fixed, but I find that trailers still require a moment to translate the muddled dialogue. I will applaud Nolan for finding a way to bring the legitimacy of Bane’s situation without making him sound like Stephen Hawking and hit the “like” button on the trailer itself.

Regardless, I will throw my hands up in surrender on July 20th. I just hope WB isn’t banking on that effect to be their sole pull for an audience.

Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, David Koechner and Steve Carell are all returning in ‘Anchorman 2.’ The teaser trailer has hit the net and for some reason, as much as I adore these guys, I just don’t get the tingly excited feeling that makes me sneak a bottle of Colt 45 into the theater after dipping into my funds to pay the electric bill to buy a ticket.
