Doing the washing is just one of these menial tasks… Unfortunately it’s not just the act of bunging your garments into the machine and switching it on – there’s the sorting through to put appropriate colours together, the hanging to dry, the ironing, the folding and the putting away!!

Because of the multitude of tasks and their time-sucking nature many of us have come to resent our washing machines…Just the sight of one of them can make a grown woman shudder! Without thinking of rationally how much harder our lives would be if they didn’t exist, we allow ourselves to think bad thoughts about those noisy, prone-to-breakdown and leak contraptions.

A story featured in ‘The Sun’ seemed to prove that big cats do in fact roam the British countryside. This ‘proof’ comes from some video footage shot by teaching assistant Coryn Memory, 45, in Stroud, Gloucs. The article reports that Coryn claims to have seen the creature five times, before finally managing to catch it on camera.

Experts on ‘The Sun’ video, analyze the size, distance and gait of the creature before concluding that it was in fact a big cat!

The debate about whether big cats actually exist in Britain has gone on for generations, with rumoured sightings, shady photographs and the finding of slaughtered livestock feeding the media frenzy about these feline creatures.

The big cats even got their own nicknames much like prolific serial killers (well I suppose they are if you look at it from the sheep and cows point of view), one of the most famous being The Beast of Bodmin Moor! So virulent were the reports of a big cat in the Bodmin region and also due to the great numbers of livestock found violently slaughtered, that the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food were sent in to conduct an official investigation in 1995. Though they did not find the ‘beast’ or any evidence that it had ever lived there, the report did state that it could not prove that a big cat had not lived in the area.

Royal Marine snipers were actually sent in to hunt down our other major infamous big cat, ‘The Beast of Exmoor’ 1983, and though some Marines did allege to have seen the stealthy creature, no big cat was ever found!

Either way, one thing is for sure, the British folk love a good ‘big cat tail’ (pun intended) part of me hopes that this is finally the proof all of the ‘believers’ have craved for so long…But there is also a part of me that doesn’t want it in concrete, because debating their existence and subscribing to all the myth, legend and fables that the stories of these creatures bring with them is just too much fun!

He is hot property at the moment, selling out every date on his tour in minutes, and then selling additional dates added to appease his fans, in a few minutes more!

He’s also been nominated for 4 Brit Awards. Yes 4, and two of his nominations are the prestigious ‘British Album Of The Year’ and ‘British Single Of The Year’ categories.

Here at Buzz Patrol, we can’t get enough of Ed Sheeran, and absolutely can’t wait for his next album to come out. To show his fans that he appreciates them, Ed Sheeran will be releasing a free EP on Valentine’s Day (February 14th 2012).

The EP, entitled ‘The Slumdon Bridge’ is a collaboration with one of Ed’s favourite rappers, Yelawolf. The track ‘You Don’t Know’, which was available online a short while ago is the first song on the mix. After watching this trailer for ‘The Slumdon Bridge’ we are totally excited about it coming out, like with all of Ed’s material, we are pretty damn sure that it will not disappoint!!

According to an article posted by the BBC today the US and UK market for pets clothing is growing rapidly!

We’ve always managed to get our hands on functional fashion for our pets; Winter coats for those shorter-haired breads of dog, fluorescent jackets for police dogs or horses, clothes to help treat health conditions in older or unwell animals. But now the market is booming with all sorts of wacky, colourful and exotic outfits!!!

You can get your hands on crazy wigs, polo shirts, fancy dress outfits, t-shirts, dresses, booties, hats, sunglasses, bow ties, cashmere jumpers , vests, jewelled collars and other accessories…The list is endless!

Many of these items aren’t cheap however, which begs the question, do people who spend $$$/£££ on fashion accessories for their pets, really just love their furry friends, or is it that they have more money than sense?

Some call it the ‘experience of a lifetime’ and if you are lucky enough to be there for it, it is not something that you are ever likely to forget!

People hold parades, make amazing and intricate sculptures in ice and other materials, release colourful lanterns up into the skies, set off extravagant fireworks and in some places residents hurl hot metal against a wall to treat spectators to a remarkable show of flashing embers!

There are various ideas as to the beginnings of the festival – which is deep-rooted in ancient Chinese history, but its underlying themes are to promote and celebrate good relations between people, the natural world and the higher beings whom it is believed are responsible for bringing the light each year.
