Machete Opens as Midnight Film, and Selections for the Venice Film Fest

Robert Rodriguez’ Machete will open the 67th Annual Biennale as the midnight showing.  Apparently, Black Swan is the official opening film.  That should make for some pretty eye candy on the Lido. Here are the other selections. From an Oscar eye’s view, Black Swan and Somewhere appear to be the big gets.
