“Harry Potter’” actress Emma Watson has decided to end her relationship with longterm financier boyfriend Jay Barrymore, blaming their long-distance romance as the reason for the break-up. Emma, who is currently living in America as she studies at Brown University while Jay is in the UK, now seems to be seeking comfort with fellow student and Spanish musician Rafael Cebrian.
Per Daily Mail:
“Emma and Jay, 28, were in trouble for months and with Emma at Brown University in America, the transatlantic gap proved too much for their relationship to survive,” says a friend. “Emma has been spending a lot of time with Rafael and they are virtually inseparable.”
Friends describe Rafael as “a very nice and funny guy who gets along with everyone.” He’s studying drama and music and he’s the drummer in the Spanish rock group “The Monomes.” He was also recently named one of Spain’s “Top 5 hottest men.” The couple met when Emma enrolled on campus last year, and have since become what looks like way more than just friends. The two have become so close, Rafael has even persuaded Emma to take part in a forthcoming coming university production of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters.”
Sounds to me like she made a major upgrade.
