It seems that the most eligible bachelor in both Hollywood and Britain is finally a taken man. The story about Simon Cowell’s pending marriage came to light last week, and was vehemently denied by his rep. But now, Simon’s fiance Mezhgan Hussainy has stepped up and confirmed their engagement!

But, gorgeous brunette Mezhgan told RadarOnline.com’s executive vice president David Perel that indeed, she and Simon are getting married.
Sporting a beautiful sparkling engagement ring, Mezhgan was all smiles as she told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the couple, who are living together, are officially engaged.
Cowell and Hussainy have reportedly known each other for years, having met on the set of “American Idol” where she is a makeup artist. They have been dating for about a year, and set off engagement rumors after she had been spotted with a massive diamond on her finger following a Valentine’s Day dinner. While they’re not divulging any details, a source close to the couple seems to think the wedding isn’t too far off.
“They are very suited,” Max Clifford (Simons publicist) said earlier. “She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He’s probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I’ve been working with him.”
