The Huffington Post has a Best Actress slide poll where the contenders are ranked 1 through 5. Meryl Streep comes out ahead, as the number one choice. She is followed by Gabby Sidibe in second place, Sandra Bullock in third place, Carey Mulligan in fourth place and Helen Mirren in fifth place.

As we all know, the Huffington Post has more readers than the Drudge Report by now. It’s quite something that The Hurt Locker is number one, and not Avatar, as one might think. Even more interesting, is that Up is in the second place position.
