A teetering, seemingly wasted Mariah Carey gave a bizarre, rambling acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival awards after being named Breakthrough Actress for her performance in “Precious.”
Carey, in a skin-tight, black-beaded full-length Herve Leger gown, stumbled onto the stage Tuesday night and greeted her presenter and “Precious” director Lee Daniels with a little dance and a big hug.
She went on to deliver what is arguably the most outrageous acceptance speeches we’ve seen.
