It is official now.
Michelle Williams and director Spike Jonze have gone their separate way.
The pair worked together on an Indie movie Synecdoche in the summer of 2007 and began dating in July 2008.
Michelle confirms the split in the new issue of Vogue. She said, “The timing was impossible. I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea: It just makes things more complicated. I obviously don’t know how to do it.”
Michelle used to date the late Heath Ledger prior to Spike, with whom she shares a three-year-old daughter, Matilda.
