The only ones I didn’t think were right were the outstanding younger actor because I think Bradford Anderson always does such an anazing job. Also, I was really disgusted that the GH writing team won. That’s nothing but crap in my opinion. They’ve had great writing from time to time but I didn’t think it was deserved, even for a nom, this year.Outstanding Supporting Actor: Vincent Irizarry should have won the award on his own. I’m sorry but this seemed like a compensation award for Jeff Branson. We all know that he should have won for his role as Jonathan Lavery.
Outstanding Supporting Actress: Tamara Braun. She deserved the emmy for her role as Carly Corinthos. However this year the emmy should have went to Bree Williamson.
Outstanding Lead Actor: Christian LeBlanc. I’m not even a Days fan and I think the award should have gone to Peter Reckel.
Outstanding Daytime Drama: The Bold and the Beautiful. All My Children deserved the emmy.I think the awards have gotten really shoddy. I used to be a big fan. I honestly don’t think I will watch anymore. It is an outrage that Peter Bergman wasn’t nominated for Y and R. Instead, Christian LeBlanc was nominated AND he won. I think this is a little insider’s club thing where certain people get the nod. Peter Reckell SHOULD have been rewarded for many years of wonderful acting. I don’t even watch that show and I would have stood up and cheered. The younger actor from days….how on earth did he win??? Tamara B. is a GREAT actress, but she was barely on DOOL and her role wasn’t that great. I really don’t know what is going on with these awards. I’m speechless.I would have liked to see bradford anderson (spinelli) and christian storm (maxie) win and peter b (bo) and would have liked to seen more actors nominated from days and gh, I believe gh would have had more if the writers would have stayed with the liz/jason s/l jmoalmost. i thought julie marie berman deserved that award but i thought kirsten storms did a great job when Georgie dies. and also deserved a award . and rachel melvin did a really good job with her Storyline about saving bo her father so she deserved award also . but I know only 1 from each category get award. but hey She left days and deserved that award for what she had done. but very happy with julie getting it if any1 deserved it was her Imean the others were great BUT am happy with julie getting she is such a gifted actress.Not really. I think All My Children should’ve won. I also think that Vincent Irizarry should have had the award to himself. I also think that Debbi Morgan should’ve gotten Lead Actress, but Susan Haskell was my second choice. And I think that Bree Williamson should’ve won Supporting Actress. But, my biggest disappointment is that Thorsten Kaye didn’t get Lead Actor!
