Juror Appreciation Day turned into a New York courthouse dance party when singer Neil Sedaka began swinging news anchor Katie Couric to the rhythms of Johnny Colon’s salsa combo.
They were among former jurors honored in a ceremony Thursday in Manhattan’s state Supreme Court building along with actors Robin Strasser (Dorian, ONE LIFE TO LIVE; ex-Rachel, ANOTHER WORLD), Uma Thurman, Nathan Lane, Ed Burns and Kathleen Turner (ex-Nola, THE DOCTORS) and fashion designer Vera Wang.
They were there to testify that jury duty is a privilege, an honor and usually surprisingly educational and interesting.
