Just one question…why use a song from Christina Aguilera’s new album that you have edit all the naughty words? I am mean super bitch is pretty much the point of the song.

Two new posters for Kick-Ass that IMPAwards calls “propaganda style.” Early word is enthusiastic. Patrick Kolan at IGN says, “it’s more than a teen movie but less than a traditional superhero tale – and by treading this fine line, it comes up with its own hugely entertaining balance between the two.”
The relationship between Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz, most recently seen in (500) Days of Summer) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage, happily swinging between manic and saccharine), is arguably the most interesting relationship element in the story. Theirs is a tale worthy of a spin-off unto itself. Moretz is already an accomplished performer and her delivery is dead-on in Kick-Ass. She takes her cues from Uma Thurman’s The Bride in ‘Kill Bill’, but with the eerie detachment that comes with a young girl swinging a katana with a big grin on her face. It should be interesting to see what she does with her leading role in ‘Let Me In’ – itself a remake of the outstanding vampiric love story ‘Let The Right One In’.
Two more posters featuring flagrantly foul-mouthed urchin Hit Girl after the cut, along with the trailer. Yes, that’s Aaron Johnson as Dave Lizewski a.k.a. Kick-Ass, British Independent Film Award nominee for his role as John Lennon in Nowhere Boy. I’ve been a fan of director Matthew Vaughn since the hyper-kinetic crime caper Layer Cake, and Stardust had flashes of radiant insanity. Kick-Ass looks to be Vaughn’s most polished work yet, and seems guaranteed to become one the biggest hits of the Spring when it opens April 16th.
